Sick to think ppl actually abuse children in such ways..
Horrid..but see Epstein Island for an actual example of how this crime is not only not enforced but actually encouraged and applauded by those that participate ..
Some of the sick creeps are happy with just sniffing them..

That is part of it, but in my opinion, this is why many on that side want this film to go away ...
Human trafficking increased massively in the last fiscal year. Arrests rose 50%; convictions soared by 80%. The vast majority, 72%, of those trafficked in the U.S. are immigrants. Most of them are here illegally.
Many are women and children who are highly vulnerable to being smuggled and eventually trafficked. A study from the Coalition Against Trafficking In Women estimated that 60% of unaccompanied alien children, or UACs, are caught by cartels and exploited through child pornography and drug trafficking.
It's all about keeping the southern border open.

It is all about sex for these sick freaks..sex and power
Didn't realize how perverted the place actually is until recently as they are very good at hiding their perversions
A suicide here, a mugging death there and everyone is happy and safe

It's bigger than protecting the pervs when Hollywood and much of the MSM are having meltdowns over this film. This is mostly political in my opinion.

Just the way a lot of these media outlets are trying to discredit the film should tell you a lot about what they are hiding and want to cover up.
Yes, the border is one of the largest problems.
Also the drugs. Which make our own runnaway children incredibly vulnerable.
Definitely a movie for the normies to help them understand this crisis.
I think its probably deeper than most realize, based on some conspiracies I've read into, which I won't go into. 3 years ago I was labeled a conspiracy theorists for bringing this stuff up.
Take note very public people who are and who aren't promoting this likewise, who are/were in the same positions of power.
God bless the men and woman in power who are trying to stop this. Many in positions of power who have died trying to expose this. :salute

Should have kept the Eastern border closed so all those Irish, Italians, Eastern Europeans and Russians didn't get in.

Except they came in legally and didn't bring these numbers with them.

Spin away, Canadian.

not until you understand that human trafficking and illegal does not always mean brown. or sex
just like your very first sentence implies white is legal.

Not only did they come in legally, they were happy to be here and WORKED to contribute to this country.
My father in law came over from Italy when he was 12 years old. He lived with cousins in NY state and while they all COULD speak Italian, they didn't allow it in their home. My father in law learned to speak english with in 6 months, and that is ALL he spoke. Once he finished school, he got not one, but two jobs to help pay the bills of his cousins and save a bit on the side for himself. At times he worked three jobs to bring in enough money to make ends meet.
Compare that with the majority of people coming in these days. Most dont bother to learn the language, most sign up to collect any and all monies they can get with out too much effort. Few look for work and if they do, most are looking for jobs where they dont have to put forth much effort, never mind taking on two or three jobs no matter what they are.
It is sad how far this country has fallen.

And how does pointing out how dangerous and destructive our current border policy is equate to denying that human trafficking takes place worldwide?
just like your very first sentence implies white is legal.
Because we used to enforce our immigration laws like every other country in the world, including Jamaica? If what you’re implying is true, how then did we accumulate such a large Hispanic, Jewish, Asian and middle eastern population BEFORE our current open southern border po;icy? Take your race baiting somewhere else, Semp. Everyone outside of California is tired of it.

To mimic your Orange Clown, those I mentioned were mafia and organized crime.
Most coming in are as you mentioned.

Anyone, and I mean everyone, that harms a child needs to be removed from the gene-pool in the most expeditious manner possible. This movie broke my heart.

California just shot down making child trafficking a "serious felony". Maybe semp can fill us in on this decision. Semp?

Human trafficking in this country will continue as long as this country keeps giving illegals free welfare, money, housing and "sanctuary", and refusing to punish or prosecute criminals. The law needs to be laid where if you are here illegally, you WILL be rounded up and shipped back to mexico. If a child is born in this country and both parents are illegal, the child will also be deemed an illegal and will NOT be given free citizenship. If you want to come to the usa you need to follow proper procedure to become a tax paying us citizen, not a leech getting free handouts as an illegal alien. Businesses that purposefully hire illegals and paid under the table will be guilty of supporting illegals.

they were legal in the sense it wasn't illegal. imagine that boatloads of people showing up at Ellis Island and just signing a book. btw first and second class didn't go to Ellis Island.

Gee, it's almost like they figured out that it was bad that unfettered migration was a bad thing and enacted laws to regulate it.
Thanks for making the point.

We Italians were called names but it didn't slow us down
My great grandfather got off the boat in his early 20's back in 1903
By the 1950's his son my name sake governed Ohio after being mayor of Toledo
Nothing wrong with immigration- it's what built this country- just has to be legal and not a political weapon

I won't see this film for the same reason I didn't see Passion of the Christ... I don't need a movie to tell me how bad this is/was. If you've been to South America, you know why this is possible. The contrasting poverty creates desperation or disparagement. Opportunists abound to take advantage of that. It's horrible. You could say the same for much of the Middle East and Africa. The presence of tribal systems seem to add to the perceived legitimacy of much of what's going on.
In the US, it is trafficking laws that are turning out to be the most effective against prostitution rings. It really provided leverage to go after those running the prostitutes instead of being relegated to arresting only the prostitutes themselves. The fact that these laws/policies are needed at all is another thing.

I was also hoping this was a thread about the pure awesomeness of The Critical Drinker's reviews. The guy is a fricking genius.
