I think it's 12 models of cylons. We've seen six. The Vixen, the Pirate, the Boomer, that Admin guy, the Metal Guards, and the Fighters.

If you recall, on the earliest engagement, one of the fighter pilots remarked that there was no cockpit in the cylon fighter. The entire craft is a robot, I believe.

They were in the new version, Acepilot. In the old TV series (which dune was talking about), the Cylons were a completely alien (species?).
