Saitek X-45 Throttle
« on: December 17, 2003, 05:36:28 PM »
Hey I know this should be in Hardware, but I hope skuzzy will cut me a break this once so I can get some views and assistance.

I'm looking for an X-45 throttle, just throttle.  If youve got one laying around that you cursed at for one reason or another I'd like to see about liberating it for you for a small fee.  My throttle snapped in half and is now laying, dead on the desk.

Thanks!

Golfer did it snap just below the grip assembly itself on the main post area?  It looks like someone may be able to help you but if not got to a local sheet metal shop and have them build up  the outer cap piece on the throttle.  I gave my dad my last X45 for that same reason and he got some special cut sheet metal to fix it

You could easily fab one out of wood, or even a good casting resin...after all...its not a high stress joint (or shouldnt be anyway:D )

If its the same as the X36 part...Ive got a few of those ;)
