memory lane.

Too bad I couldn't get the script to work for giving info about field names. I know a bunch of them.

Gonna have to figure out something to replace in AH with that old AW yell sound file...wadda hoot :D.

wow!

I just discovered I flew in the AWDos days.  I was a complete noob with everything electronic (aside from Nintendo) back in the day... I had forgotten that I flew this... with a mouse though :D

I remember one of my first buff missions.  Rolled from a C field in the Europe terrain, flew south, dropped on an evil B field, and actually RTB'd.  The gunners I had onboard went nuts.  Maybe we were all noobs at the time, but it was very exciting for all of us and I was surprised we made it.

I *think* it was through AOL at the time though.  Does that count?

I can't seem to get it to recognize my stick or calibrate it.  Anyone else get it set up?

If you flew AW on AOHELL, then you played AW4W not DOS AW.

Makes me wish I would have saved my old films just to hear some of the voices on vox again.

I have SVGA AW. I loaded it into windows xp. It works, but doesn't recognize the usb joystick. After looking at it, I saw nothing that would want to make me fuss with it :)

I'll save it and put it in the box with my old Timex-Sinclair 14 kb flight sim :) That was a big program as the puter only had 16 kb of ram :) I think the Beatles were still together...
