The HTC crew are hard working, patient, tireless. Yet every single time they release something new they have to put up with a cloud of whines.
Sometimes they get them even when they havn't released anything.
There ain't no justice
HTC hang in there.
You would think that someone who flies for ONE country exclusively, and who flys ONE plane 95% of the time would be a little more understanding of those who are agrivated to the point of quiting the game by being told they cant fly plane XXX for 6+ hours at a time PRIME TIME when thats the only time they may get to fly durring the week. And we are not talking about Nikis and P51Ds, we are also talking about the F6F, the P38 the B17 the FW-190d and A8 and on and on.
Your a Knit and so have never seen ENY reach the low 30s and never drop belew 22 for an entire night. I would however hope that empathy comes along with the self righteousness of flippantly dismissing those who are having to deal with the consequences of an unfair system.
I must ask just how happy you would be if we didnt let you Fly your beloved Yak during the only few hours you got to play each week for three weeks straight?
Another real issue also comes down to it being BAD to start to win the war. If you begin to win the war, the other side typically logs off in droves. So what we then get is punishment for the side that was better organized and played the game better. SO taking bases becomes a BAD thing.
We have moved from a game that rewarded strategic thinking, into AIR QUAKE, and its sad.
Being a developer may not be easy, but in this case, there has been a grievous error, I dont think HT ever envisioned the negative effects on gameplay this new system has caused. Entire squadrons who have flown together for years are fragmenting and falling appart as P-38 squads cant fly thier plane, Heavy bomber squads cant fly thier B17 and everyone gets frustrated. Thats a bad thing for the community, and its worse for the economics of the game, because its that strong bond you develop in a squad and with your follow countrymen that keeps you here for years, and as squadrons collaps, so will thier members subscriptions.
