Can't you guys just let the sport die out. It deserves to go the way of the dinosaurs.

Get ready for NASCAR to fill the void. Rumor has it they are heading North of the border next year. :)

I dunno... as live sports events go, hockey has football and baseball beat.

Certainly, hockey doesn't present well on television. The game is too fast, and the cameras spend way way too much time focusing on the puck.

yep

nothing beats watching a hockey game live at the rink. i fondly remember the old boston garden rockin during the early 90s when the divisions still had bizzare names and the whale was still in hartford

saw the beanpot finals at the fleetcenter a few weeks ago and it was an awesome experience, even of NU lost in ot.

on tv tho.. its tough to see how the play is developing with such a small screen.. hd broadcasts are a lot better tho, you can usually see much  much more..

i duno, its just sad. i miss it even if theyre all a bunch of greedy bastards
