You are correct, there was no CV, but there were lots of FAA land based aircraft, both TBM's and fighters that did participate in the D-Day operation and they are never included.

In keeping with realism regarding DDay why not enable two just two Fw190 A8 representing Josef Priller and his wingman Heinz Wodarczyk.  as soon as the ackllieds gang them they can declare cartoon victory.

Grits thanks for the heads up. I will bounce this around the CT Staff but I think it will make it into the setup. One of the other Spitty's will have to come off the line and as the Staffer running it I am leaning toward the IV dropping off.

CT is teh dead. If we are talking about D day where is the P-51? They flew lots of missions pre landings.

this person is correct and the pony should be represented in both flavors.

what should not be represented is anything axis as only two sorties were flown.

Reschke.

Just title it  fall 43/winter 44. That will squelch the P-51 hits. As far as the SpitV don't know what to tell you, except maybe put the Seafire in for it. I don't know if you meant it to be a D Day setup, but that seems to be how everyone is looking at it. If you are going to represent D day then add Pony B's when you add the fleet and update any Luftwaffe aircraft that were available , and I can't see why anybody would have a problem with it.
