No.The inequality is already there and if the end result is equal rights and equality then there is no more tax $$ spent in support of something that no longer exists.

You can serve whomever you want in a private club or perform whatever consensual sex act behind closed doors.But at the local pub you cannot refuse to serve someone based on their race/sexual orientation etc...
As for renting(or hiring for a job),it has to be based on who is the most qualified.If you can prove you were passed over for a job or apartment because you were black,you should be able to sue him for the shirt on his back.
Affirmative Action is discrimination and should be banned(or any hiring law based on anything other than the best/most qualified person getting the job)...Very hard and costly to prove though.
See the trick is to eliminate any and all inequalities and fundings...Then all the racists will have nothing to complain about .
