no, thats why you never see them (109's) in a turn-fight or down low (less they are dying)

spit out zoom's, out power's, and out climbs.... and it is more stable in the flat turn.

if a spit just stays flat and level, turning 1 direction, the 109e will turn inside it for a bit, but the higher power of the spitV will let it sort of "extend" in the turn

Yes and no.  You'd probably win the first fight, if you are good in the 109E, simply because most Spit V pile-its have become overconfident in their easy-mode ride.  Maybe even the next fight if the guy comes back all tickd off and looking for revenge.

The Bf 109E-4 has 14 kills this tour vs the Spitfire MkV, while the Spit has 30 kills vs the 109E-4.  Thats almost a .5 k/d ratio for the 109E-4 vs the Spit V.  Not bad considering the difference in performance.  The 109E only suffers vs its stablemates in the area of roll rate and top speed.  In acceleration, its almost as good as the F model.  And of course it has the 400 mph speed limit of all the 109s.

I'm not saying you cant win more than 1 or 2 fights in the 109, no matter which one you fly.  It's a very capable airplane, and more than capable of killing spits.  Its just that the average skill level needed to be good in a 109 is higher than the average skill level needed to be good in a Spit.  The Spit is an easy-mode plane, and even n00bs can get kills in it when they catch someone napping or in a bad E state.  Learn the ways of the 109, and you will munch on Spits as a light snack.  :)

Yes and no.  The 109E can get very slow, and keep a tight turn radius.  If the Spit V turnfights you, and you manage to get to at least a nuetral state angles-wise, you will probably win the fight.  If there is only one that is.  If the Spit V bleeds off your speed and then takes the fight vertical, you don't have the horsepower to keep up with him.  The only times I was successful against a Spitfire in the 109E were when I managed to get a newb to take the fight into the weeds and try to turn tight circles.

The 109E really isn't very well suited to our '45 MA.  It lacks all of the advantages the later 109s have, and in return it gets turning ability that is about on par with the Spit V.  However, it has somewhere around 1/4 the firepower, and it rolls like a 9000 lb woman.

In summary, if you are not into the hit and run, you are better suited joining the legions who fly the Spit or Niki.
