Wierd Bug and X52 problem
« on: June 03, 2006, 06:42:56 PM »
After reading all the posts concerning key mapping and the Saitek X52 I went offline to recailbrate everything. While in the tower I test every function and it looks fine....that is until I enter a plane. When trying to LOOK left or right using the Hat switch all I get is head movement.  Even using the Keypad I get the same results. In the TOWER the views work as they should but NOT in a plane.

I've tried just about every trick I can think of to correct the issue but still no luck. I've made sure that the Saitek config utility isnt running and have gone over ALL the commands involving view changes and head changes. Still No luck. Just an Idea here, but could the old Saved Head postions saved in the config be conflicting with the new programing?

If anyone up in the HitEch fortress of d00m has some suggestions I'm all ears

I use the X52 too.

Keep an eye to the Stick map and the key map. There are differences between
the mappings of the view keys. Use the same keys you programmed in the
SST Software in the new AH2 keymaps. My config works fine.

make sure that in (well it's options, now)  that you have start in mouse look unchecked.

the old mouse pan, shift-m, (which I hope, pray) is coming back...caused conflict with the hat views. hitting shiftm causes things to bung up

At least it did with mine
