I think it improper to intentionally create a false quotation of someones post ed.

Is this missquoting of me supposed to be funny?

And on the contrary..i have encouraged all my freinds to do whatever they enjoy.

Some of my squad stayed...some left. All of their free choice.

Some of my freinds have left some have stayed.

I encourage ppl only to do as they feel they should do.

beoytchin in public is no different than beoytchin  about beoytchin in public.

You feel the uncontrollable urge to stand opposed in public?

You are viewed the same by the other side of the argument no matter the posistion you take.

So stop yer beoytchin :)

Please take your own advise.

And I do think Edberts paraphrase, all though in very bad form posting it as a quote, is fairly accurate of your attitude.

I tried to edit the part where it said "posted by" to read "synopsis of" but it was too late. I formally apologize for the poor decision.

If falsely Quoting is an acceptable practice then I think we should be prepared to see more of it.

But i personally think a false quotation should be against the policy of any public forum.

I'm not taking any sides on this argument but to deliberately miss-quote is totally inappropriate.

HTC man ! You shoulda "deleted" Edbert post off the bat and not sided with it under your own 5 rule.  If you wanna debunk mugs debunk him... El Presedentia

LNYX.

At first i was a little surprised that HT didn't delet ED's post.

But after further thought i wasn't surprised at all.

Dissapointed yes...surprised...no.

For the record.

I have never encouraged any friend or squad mate to quit AH.

I have always encouraged my squad and friends to find a way to have fun for their self.

(Ask my squad mates or those that flew with me)

My original reason for quiting AH was financial.

But after i pulled the plug it was a big relief. (Addiction) :D

Now that i have had the resources to return after the second month i have been looking for reasons to return.

Seeing things constantly unsettled in the arenas via talking to friends on the phone and following the BBS, i don't see subjecting my self to the pain in the prettythang.

But i will keep watching.:aok

Yes. On my cusins account on his PC here in PA where i am temporary working.

My only complaint is the same as many.

Two scenarios play out time and time again.

Cant get in the well populated arena.

Or get in the leser populated arena only to see very lopsidedness.

EW is not for me. (Things just happen too slow)

MW suffers the same problems as LW most of the time.

Yes it is true. I liked the old single arena.

I dont like the new setup.

I am fairly confident that the massive crazyness that the old MA is never going to return. (I enjoyed it just fine)

But i will not give up hope that there will finally be a fix that will work for me some day.

I noted that there are probably more newbies than i can remember experiencing. This is a plus for HTC. Out with the Old fuddy duddys and in with the next generation.

And no, i am not in search of the Holy Grail. ;)

Thanks for asking

cheers  :)

Welllllllll......

While deceptive misquoting is obvioiusly bad, it seems to me that the "summary reinterpretation pretend quote" is a time honored AH BBS tradition.

In its simplist form....who cant remember someone long rant being "wuoted" as an "originally posted by XXXX: 'Waaaahhh'"?
