I'd have a better chance in running into a Dodo Bird in the middle of rush hour, walking down the I-5 with two hookers in tow before I see a useful post from glock89- Ack-Ack

Charlie Brown was the Spit Vb pilot, Mark Hanna was in the Spanish built 109.  Took place at Duxford.  They had a heckuva rat race.

Right after the 38 :D, and then it is.

donkey

NO WAY! Spits are the sexiest! :) And FWs... and 109s... and 51s.... and a lot of others! (yeah, even 38s! ;) )

Btw, I think this is the sexiest Spit config, a late production XVI:

Bubble canopy, normal wing.... just gorgeous!

Corky, thanks for the picture, Joc, thanks for the video. :)

Beautiful bird. No doubt about it.

BTW, what do you guys find are some good forums for keeping up with warbirds and aviation history stuff? Always looking for more ways to waste otherwise productive time...
