airhead... I don't have a system but know two people who do here.. they both paid (after rebates) about 40K.. the systems are about 1500 square feet if that.. one side of their roofs..  they both have 2000 sq ft plus homes.. they both would probly pay about $250-400 a month normally but they claim that their bills are $50 a month now.. they sell power back for "credit" most of the time.    I would do it if it costs just a bit more just to be independent.

Hot rods... trucks.. they all get that 12 mpg but.. like you say.. how much are people really driving a year?

I am saying that they had better come up with a lot better data than "30 ft rise in sea level.. billions dead by 2020" crap before they get people to want to spend a cent.. the nations that bought into the whole thing are making more co2 than ever.

Solar Power is getting much better.  Of course it isn't really worth it without government subsidies, yet.

Steve I don't buy into it either, but I would like to end our (U.S.A.) dependance on foreign oil, and the more we shift our energy production away from oil the better we will be in the long run.

On a side note did you all hear that the jet stream is now moving 18ft per year? :noid I don't remember if it is shifting north or south but some scientist said it was, so it has too be true. I heard that this morning on the radio while driving to work. They didn't say why, but I'm sure I'm partially to blame.

sik...  I am sure that you are correct..

There is no change in nature.

All change is man made.. unless it is for the good.
