Film viewer suggestions

It is nice to have colored trail added, instead of the old ‘wireframe’ model. However, I am getting a “Missing shape plane trc” message when I activate the trail feature.

I suspect this has something to do with drawing the plane contour in the trail itself, right ?

Also, ordnance (drop tanks, rockets etc) are not shown in films anymore.

Here are few suggestions:

1. Please bring back the fixed view (used to be at F5 key) – this is the most useful view for combat analysis, IMO.

2. Put the following feature in: Plane contours should be drawn in the trail, showing plane position and orientation (wireframe plane model should be just right).  It should also be user adjustable, for example to draw 1 position per second, or 1 every 3 seconds etc. In combination with somewhat transparent trail it would look just great.

3. Mark the moment when the plane opens fire.

4. Mark the moment when a plane is damaged.

With all these options films should look something like this (borrowed from Shaw’s book) :

yes Hristo, i agree on that missing F5 key
we had in the beta time.
you could place the virtual camera anywhere
and track the Planes without to move self.
That was really the best view for analyze ACM.
