solution for afghan "road-side bombs"?

Anyone thats been to Afghanistan knows about the dust. Its a fine baby powder like dust that covers everything. A painted road would last all of a few hours before being covered in the dust.

Theres no sure fire way to stop an IED. The only way is to root out those who supply, make, and deploy them.

if we were not there, we would not care who buried what in their dirt roads.
I say screw em - pull every last soldier out of that stinking 3rd world sheet hole NOW!
We are not there to win anything the way we are fighting this "war".
Leave them to kill each other (we can help with that without losing anyone else) - that is all they have done their entire history...you think we are changing anything? We are only providing them targets.
