Okay, a tad off topic, but not much.
POLL: Which tastes better? Crappie, Walleye or Bass?

Personally, bass is way low on my list.  I don't keep them for eating at all anymore.

Walleye and crappie are both good.

I would have to say out of those 3 I would have to choose Walleye.

Although crappie filets breaded and fried with an ice cold Sam Adams is really hard to beat.

I dont ever keep any Bass i catch. I guess watching Jimmy Houston all those years kiss'em and putt'em back
made a soft spot in my heart for them 

Thanks Simba, Ive already got my eye on one, that falls within the sofa/boat budget. Its an 18ft Lund with a full fishing platform on the front,2 live wells, all the great electronics. fish finder etc,Minkota trolling motor and a 40hp Merc. ( the lake near me is a 40hp limit, but the size of the boat allows me to add something larger in the future if i want........err if my wife lets me that is

Crappie are good but Walter is the best.  IMO Perch is right up there with Walleye though.
