Did you read the link on RAF 14 squadron & it's usage of the B26 & torpedo's? They used them in that squadron for about two years. Now if your talking about formation's only & why? Well we have the option to do so with the B26 as with the KI67 & the JU 88. if torpedo's were to be added I don't see why not on a formation of them.

No offense taken, I'm swamped in real life right now, or I'd have replied before.

I only saw one real mention of using torps for the RAF. The other links mention bombs, and the interview with the old veteran he never mentioned torpedoes once, but mentions mines and bombs and shooting. Overall I'd say the use of torps is also next to nil for B-26s in RAF service. They may have used the B-26s for 2 years but apparently not the torps on them for 2 years. They had at least one successful mission but what else? The RAF used a lot of smaller craft for torpedoes, swordfish, beaforts, beaufighters. I'm not seeing the B-26 as much of a contender. Forcing it in for the sake of having allied torp formations feels wrong.

The Russians mounted two huge torpedo's on the bottom side of there A20G's so no need to mess with the bomb bay.

Yup ...those Allies
