Is there a setting to make your aircraft invulnerable in off line missions.

Planning on using this to learn better view transitions to keep track of who is shooting me down. 

I also note that in the off line missions the drones are frequently still flying for even though one wing is completely gone.  If this is possible, can it also be done to the off line drones?

You should be able to adjust the weapon lethality. Just turn it down and then you should be good.

Turning down the weapon lethality will also make it so your bullets do less damage. The drones flying with no wings is just the way it is. I've actually shot off both wings, and until I actually hit the cockpit enough, the drone continued to circle.
