Well some of us Specialists got together again in Dayton, Ohio to see the 'Memphis Belle' go on display and spent the 17Th and 18Th at the Air Force Museum. Ten of us also filled up 'Aluminum Overcast' for a ride on 19 May 2018. Our landing was interesting to say the least as an issue came up with the tail wheel lock and it was shimmying all over the place when we touched down. After the next flight boarded and she started taxiing out, ground crew had to look at it as the tail lock wouldn't release to release the tail wheel, and it took them 20 or 25 minutes to get a cable back on a pulley or something like that [ maybe]. The EAA took a picture they will have on their website but here's a few links to films that were shot, no Bishop's or Rook's so that was the only thing we could shoot.

more to follow I'm sure, just found a bad link or something on takeoff film   :frown:

Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Nice, I rode on her in 2015 with my dad, the day after the WW2 flyover on May 8th.

Here's my video of the startup sequence, I sat right behind the pilot and copilot. I have a few videos from the flyover launch and during the flight on my channel.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
