At this point my issue is getting good film from the game that I can use. A half hour film might only give me 1 minute or 2 of video, but Im trying to tell a story where others are just trying to show their fight to the world.

I have plenty of film (.ahf) if you're looking for particular things, I may have some or can probably do something on request.  I just feel using .ahf loses some effects that actually enhance the experience.

I record at 1440hd, YT puts in at 1080 and if there's any editing, the compression downgrades the original clarity even further - which can lower the perception of what AH offers.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

Do you think mine are showing a lower grade? The Divebombing Part 2 is from a washed out map (less trees and contrast) , Part 1 is from a better filled map. I thought my videos looked pretty good as they were, and I use the film viewer to get my shots, and shadowplay to get a usable file to edit.

Id like to do more "mission" videos and ARR type things. I think I have a better way to present them to where people may enjoy watching them. I need take off footage, formation flying, map shots for arrow animations, actual battle footage for the attack sequences, and so on. Look at me, I sound like Scorsese !  LOL!!

Yours look better than what I see on clipchamp.  The raw .mp4 from Shadowplay is much better but 4GB+ for a 5 min capture.  I tried loading the Shadowplay .mp4's direct to YT but it gave even lower compression and crappier looks.

No sound on either.

Here are 2 YT videos - starting at the 5 sec mark on the first and the 10 second mark on the second kind of syncs them up. These are the first fight between me and xanax (awful) la7 vs spit1. Also attached is the .ahf clip that they are based on - it syncs with the YT vids at the 11 second mark.

The first is direct in-game view using shadowplay capture and edited/uploaded with clipchamp approx 355mb

The second is using shadowplay capture of the .ahf viewer and edited/uploaded with clipchamp approx 335mb

Yup, direct in game view recording is better. The effects make the action more compelling by a long shot. I still think the film viewer clips the FOV by about 10% and that was the basis for my initial question for the thread. My vid is crap with Bandcamp or whatever just recording the screen while playing the ahf. I got some work to do.
Does the paid Youtube plan offer better compression and quality?

He posted them upstream in this thread:

I'm pretty sure it's the 2nd one: la spit1

Give it the Michael Mann or Sergio Leone treatment!

Fugitive is hoping to create something from both our perspectives and was hoping you'd have your film(s) of the engagement... and yeah it was the 2nd encounter.

But if you have your .ahf of our first encounter, that would also be something Fugitive might want. I posted the YT vids, and the .ahf (clipped) involved in that a few replies up.

If you're going to try and sync them up with a double view, you'll need to pick one to key on.  And if it might add to any understanding of latency, my connection is usually around 35ms - not sure what xanax's might be, but I think it's fairly close to mine.

I always see mine in 40's and 50's just before heading into arena. Pretty small sample size though.
