I think the Queen still has quite a lot of power officially (i.e able to dissolve parliament, sack a P.M e.t.c) (don't quote me tho

) however in practice they are next to useless, i only know of 1 time the Queen's powers were used to sack a PM was in Australia in the seventies, and it was done by the governor general (queen's rep in Australia) but not actually supported by her. Hope this helps Eagler.
