on the topic of Jengiz Kahn's childhood:
he was not some nancy-boy that had everything handed to him on a silver platter like other conquerors (alex the so-called great was born in possesion of the Balkan peninsula & most of Asia Minor).  at one point Chingis Kahn's'empire consisted of himself, his 3 brothers, his mother & 3 horses. later only 2 brothers (he murdered one of them for stealing a fish).  then his horses were stolen...long story short...eventually he ended up in possesion of northeastern asia
