No, you cant. This is the first time we can see an italian fighter modeled in a flight sim. You British, German and American cannot really understand, I feel like a child (ehm).
After the upgrade I couldnt believe to my eyes ... the C.205 was in the hangar .. =)

I'd like to thank PYRO and Superfly for the outstanding job. And my squad mates Ferdinando and Stefano as well (they know why ...  )

Oh yeah,
even if you had your babies modeled in AW and WB, I forgot to mention: "perhaps only Leonid can understand" ...
Cya in the mid-low haze Leonid ...   we have to check our six from those late war monsters.

Congrats Gatt-I love to see others getting as thrilled as ive been with the progress of this sim! With each new release its like being a kid in a candy store. The best thing is -this sim will NEVER be done -plane additions-FM tweaks-visual improvements etc will always be coming to keep up with the latest advancements in hardware /software tech.Personally waiting for the p-38 and p-40,meanwhile its been GREAT fun deveoping this one with you all so far.

Well. I CAN share your enthusiasm

I kept looking at the 205 last night while dogfighting. I just loved seeing it in flight. A very graceful bird and quite a hand full to fight against too in AH.
I for one am very glad that HiTech Creations
has added this plane.

And seeing it i have to say what took so long. What a beautifle plane. I havnt flown it yet but shure looks like a winner doing a quick turn at 500 ft. I almost forgot to shoot. I dont think we will see a flood of them but when you get a good look at one it sure adds to the game.

Now I only hope HTC will fix her "bouncing nose" and performance.
She's a mid war baby but her top speed and climb rate were much better.

<S> Bugjam/Bugster t'was a pleasure to keep your tail clean from those bishops ...

I'm glad they modelled it, too. It was the only thing I could kill all weekend.

i dunno, i've found the 205 to be fairly easy targets, even with much less-maneuverable planes.  with a couple of (lucky) exceptions, all my engagements with them have wound up the same way:

initial head-on pass
205 uses its superior turn rate to get
in my elbow (but it's now dangerously low
  on e)
i initiate scissors
either (most of the time):
205 stalls--if too low (usually) it
    crashes
or:
pilot, wary of a stall in a plane that's
suddenly acting like a lazy recalcitrant
dog, presents me with an easy target.

i fly a 109 mostly, which is passible but not steller at scissoring.

also, if you keep above a 205 the plane is mostly helpless.

maybe i'm completely wrong, but those are my observations.

to stiglr & shower:

Is well-known that almost every plane is doomed if you manage to stay above him.
At this time the 205 coud be an easy target if caught low, because the FM need fixing.
Speed and above all climb capabilities are too low and the behaviour in flight seems to me not very believable (he is very unstable and looses E to easy).
The Macchi should act moreover like a 109, only turning better and climbing a little bit slower.
Regards.
