no thats 42 league games without losing in the premiership,

But i seem to remember Man utd beating them in last years champions league and knocking them out thats why theres no champions league picture IIRC.

and they are both domestic teams so it should count :P

Bah!

Argyle have won 2 titles in 3 years on a shoe string budget.  We're also currently 2nd in the championship.  We beat sunderland on sat 2-1, serves mick mcarthy right for saying it'll be a walkover in the pre match interview.

Sturrock has just been fired by southampton (mutual consent my arse!).  He is a great manager, Lowe is a ****.  Lowe never supported sturrock, he openly wanted Hoddle.  Sturrock won 6 of his 13 matches- not a poor rcord by any means. Sturrock turned Argyle around from 3rd bottom of the 3rd division to division 2 champions in 3 years.

My guess for southampton's new manager is Houllier or Hoddle.

well, your memory sucks because it was chelsea who beat arsenal in the CL, last minute goal from wayne bridge knocked us out. :p
