AH just lost it's thrill when compared to the real thing, so I've retired from AH for the time being.

Same thing happened to me when I got into aerobatics. It's just not the same... I can't get the inmersion factor, and without it, the appeal was lost.

Gixer, I've been flying too.....only noticed you on that one time though, and it was around 1am here......damn time zones.

I'll be on tonight probably pretty late if anyone wants to fly with me, or come kill me.

Man I'd love to...havent flown on a regualr basis since just before 9/11.  Since then, the local FBO opted not to offer rentals anymore and the only operator that does wants $90 an hour for a C172.

I keep hoping the Powerball will turn my way so I can buy my own!

I think all the renter pilots should go on strike until the plane & helios rentals come down.

I fly AHII for the fun and friends in the squads. I enjoy posting in A&V to see how much blood pressure I can raise talking about the flaws in the flight modeling.

Leaving the lfixed wing guys to sweat a little longer in their little cockpits dreaming of flying 777's

Dreaming no more, flying B-767-300ERs does that count! Depart Honolulu to Vegas tomorrow then back. Then on to Sydney later on this week. Cant beat those 48 hour layovers.

Up until last week I flew a yellow bugsmasher during rush hour watching cars stuck in traffic.

I'd like to start flying a white bugsmasher with the name 'Lear' stamped on the data plate.  Spring can't come soon enough.

Yeah, I do, tomorrow to New York in an MD-11. For the sake of the passengers I'm not the pilot.

Door's off in the summer here,  as alot of our work involves sling loading and alot of very confined area operations in   forrest areas and bush.

My time is limited to H300's,H500C and 206's
