Figured I'd post this:

Runny has added the Motorcycle to the Malden and Nogova MFCTI missions. Nogova has some great terrain, though it's a pain in the bellybutton to get around some parts of the Island. Having someone fly a Chopper is recomended, and since Airborne Operations are what I like best about MFCTI it just works out nicely.

Give Amazon credit, my copy arrived several days early. GOTY edition $20, - the 1.96 patch but that was easily found and applied.  Almost quicker and cheaper than trying to find it local at the stores, i'm impressed.

I installed the FDF mod and am trying to just complete a mission or 2, really enjoyng single player till I get the hang of it again. Love the menu music in FDF too.

Damn, I miss OFP so much.  I used to play it all the time a couple years ago but you really need a strong secure squad to keep ya in the fights...  I can't wait til OFP 2 comes out!  Can't believe they delayed it by two years!

I am a member of the Falklands Mod Community. Check it out at http://www.flashpoint1982.co.uk It is an Awesome Mod and it is being done exactly! to the real Conflict in 1982 in which claimed the lives of many in a short period of time. Anyway, the Mod will be Released Completely by Q2 of 2005. Meaning around April. They are hoping to have it released by the Anniversary of the April 2nd Invasion of the Islands off the edge of Argentina.

Been playing LAN with the Y2K3 mod and having a blast. For instance, the Malden map "Shadowkiller" via Multiplayer, it really shows off the y2k3 mod enhancements.

What would you suggest for our LAN group Dinger to get more out of it? We are having a riot, but seem to want better weapons on various maps. There is only so much plinking with the M16’s on the stock MP missions till we want to add (read:cheat) with better weapons.

Suggestions?

Any BAS (Ballistic Addon Studios) rock the house.

Check this sticky - links to the addons we use.  Higher quality sounds, improved "stock" garbage.  The M249 SPW alone is worth the download.
