ROFL rip!

Hahah
Superfly, you're the MAN    .

heheh, I was just making a reference to An officer And A Gentleman and Bush just happened to be the target. Looks like I caught a few big ones.

Eagler, being paranoid and going on UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOURS is the way of an idiot. Being skeptical and verifying, were possible, claims, is the way to go.

Or, if you must do the former; be consistent. Do it on everything, including yer favourite pet peves stuff  . Hell, Bush MIGHT even be white trash, who knows?

And aye, Denmark is a very sheltered place. You know, small country, politicians are under close scrutiny, due to taxes everyone is basically middle class, homogenous society with a comparatively low crime rate. Free education and huge taxes. Safe and sheltered sure.

I do enough things in life that can kill me to make up for it though.   . Ah, the wonders of testosterone poisoning

You guys STILL miffed?     .

And incidentally, I don't mind saying it in front of a bunch of Texans. At least in person, even the dimmest of Texan white trash would have an opportunity to understand it as a joke     .

YEEEHAW: don't you have some cattle to..uhm...do stuff with?
Later y'all.

The Clintons should return the furniture and apologize for having taken it.

I didn't say what they would do, I said what they should do.

Looks like they are returning the stuff though: ABCNews.com

they shouldn't have taken anything to begin with. It just showed them for what they are.

Trying to steal and giving it back after gettting caught is not the same as not doing it to begin with.

mieleta,
Implicit in the statement "They should give it back" is the fact that they shouldn't have taken it in the first place.

If I thought that they should have taken it, I would not now think that they should give it back.

Unlike you however, I am willing to accept the idea that they misunderstood the intention of the gift givers.  Until there is definitive evidence that they knew the gifts were for the White House and not for them, I will give them the benefit of the doubt.  That is how it works in this country, innocent until proven guilty.

If, however, they intentionally took stuff they knew was not intended for them, then I have a problem with what they did.

For now I will accept that they misunderstood and when informed of the true intentions of the givers they returned the items, just as any reasonable human might do.

actually, it is "not in jail" until proven guilty. I'm not waiting for the court to render a verdict to form my opinion. But you are of course entitled to yours.
