No need to apologize, I needed a good laugh.

Honestly though, it does worry me. A complete and utter collapse would most likely see the release of millions of prisoners whether intentionally or by rioting/escape. Unless of course they are left inside to die. I guess its hard to say what really would happen. But I would make note of the nearest correctional facility or federal prison and make sure to steer clear of it when it happens.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Funny ...

I remember my sister visiting me for the first time in Melbourne, FL. I pick her up from the airport. She's all bummed out because she can't smoke in the terminal. We go get something to eat, she's pissed because she has to give 15% of tip. Then we go to the beach, she's frustrated because she cannot be topless.

We go home, it's 9pm and the restaurants are all closing, all is left is Mc Donald's alike. She ask me where to bus stop is to go shoping in town tomorrow. I told her there's no buss system, and that the only place to shop is "the mall", they don't have a "downtown" like in European cities where you can walk the streets to shops, and sit at a terrase to enjoy a coffee.

She told me that she had more freedom in France.:lol I think it's just a difference of culture.
Dat jugs bro.

Not in Joisey.

Here you need to be able to show a legitimate need to have a handgun before they will give you permission to own one.

You even need a permit to own a BB gun

It's called externalizing. All people do it to some extent, generally as a nation the more miserable you are the more you externalize. Just look at Russia and how they blame everyone else for their problems. Same with most of the Muslim states. America is no different, and loudly exalting their freedom above all others is what they have always cringed back on to in times of need. I prefer that to the Russian way of military posturing and threatening rhetoric.

I would agree that we are vastly less free here than we were in th 50's 60's and 70's.

We are less free every day.    we do have pretty cheap fuel and we can drive what we want for the most part.

We can execute really evil people.

we can own a variety of firearms and bear them.

It seems that these are the things that the rest of the world thinks we should not be able to do.. they are neurotic about telling us we must stop and be more like them.

I notice that I have to break a whole lot more laws these days than before tho.. just to have a little freedom.

I notice that I no longer want to go to big events or airports.. the lack of freedom is stifling.. it is oppressive and.. I see that most people don't even notice.

On can live away from the large population centers here tho and still live with a good degree of freedom.

Too many resources spent pursuing these types of crimes, but hey, the prosecutor will be in next year claiming that he needs more money because his workload is up.

The jail is overcrowded, we need a new one.

Shamus,

Did you read that article? You should learn about misdemeanors vs felonys. Felons go to state prison, not misdemeanor convictions.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

In S.C. if the judge gives you less then 90 days you go to jail, if he gives you 91 days or more you go to prison.
