actually when i've been furballing near cv's the most i see the 5" ers manned is when there's lancstukas inbound, ju's diving, etc.............

 otherwise, it's just a big fun furball

this weekend there was a cv near a furball and every 5" was maned, a few guys made it a point to go in a kill the 5" guns without killing the cv. CV was sunk only cause they were trying to kill a 5" gun.

in mw yesterday, i was in 2 or 3 furballs near cv's. saw 5" shooting at buffs. saw some 8" shelling the town, but didn't pay em any mind. just went up and fought the air cons.
 one was a fight against an enemy cv. same thing. till someone sunk it.......then we go back to having to fly a coupe sectors for a fight.
