I will admit that I did bounce my first touch and go, on my first solo while flying a Piper Warrior II back in 1977. But I never did auger N3332Q
know what's funny? my first solo, first landing is probably the best landing i've ever had. they're decent now, but none feel as good as that very first landing.
i did it in a cessna 172 N46FW. was a 1977(i think) N model. back then, i stil used to use all 40 degrees of flaps to land,,,,till i found out newer cessnas only have 30 degrees. i never use more than 30 degres now......in heavier crosswinds, only 20.
