I just came from the AVA and it was very enjoyable.
The fights were good and sharp, and so was the humor.
So you guys that told me I didn't know what the current climate was in AVA...
You're absolutly correct. I didn't and based my comments on past experiance.
So I stand corrected, but still hesitant.
If this is the norm, you guys are on to something and hopefully things will pick back up in the arena.

I actually thought it was one of our worse nights in there lol  Usually the alt is lower, usually less..."attention" on each hostile, etc.

But still fun.

I really didn't get a 1v1 there was usually a crowd around. Probably a good thing, last night was the most time I've spent in an F4U-1A.
I normally fly the F4U-1D in the MAs. I couldn't believe the difference, the 1A seems to maneuver and accelerate better than the D. However not being used to the model it felt a little squirrely to me. I augured twice in the thing when torque got the better of me. The D seems more docile. It was fun fights all night though.

I enjoyed flying with you guys.

Your pm could of done well with an explanation. What make's the AvA so good IMO is that most people wont jump into 1 v 1's and the fights are low alt, I think dawger was just lost and looking for the MA.

After talking with Dawger and the rest of the 475th I found there were prety cool guys. We talked about the 475th squad for a while (alot of histroy in that squad) It was a nice conversation, those guys are real knowledgeable. Now I don't agree with their tactics, I won't hold it against them
