There should be an option to eject someone from a mission as well ie... you wanna go noe and someone who always grabs alt joins before take off u can eject them?
Well, even then, they could still up from the same field and follow you in. Besides, I only wish to even the odds when I'm in a P-40.

As far as the mission option, it could require a password which would involve maybe a radio button to enable the field and then the planner would enter the password and only share it with whomever. That might be doable. Definitely a good idea but how often are missions interrupted by unwanted players?

The skins thing is a bit of a problem. Maybe if it were stored on the server and flagged for the mission but there would be delays downloading it for sure. Then there is the Hi-Res issue and other stuff to consider.

I'd posted about this a while back (Back in 08') and revived the thread on it because it came up in a squad discussion the other night.
I'd like to see one that's tuned to a spicific VOX because if it's only available to squads, then squads with multiple wings wouldn't all have access to it.
Of course if you could add access to other squads that'd be a different beast all together.

One of the main problems with the mission planner, and reason I don't use it to plan out attacks...
You have to force what kind of planes/loadout people choose. Making a clipboard mission planner that isn't dependant on a time, or plane, but just has waypoints, ability to put notes on it for certain points etc. would be awesomely invaluable!

A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.

Nice1 ThunderEgg, +1

by reading a couple of posts about ejecting ppl from a mission or allow them in etc....

Since sitting in tower ejecting unwanted ppl cant work forever imho, I would add something like ThunderEgg said:
a VISIBILITY section in the mission planner: From 3 drop down menus u can select All and this will enable your mission to be visible by every country-mate player, a single option and this will enable the visibility to single players and then u can select players names (like the join menu), Squads and u can select friendly squads to give them your mission's visibility. [None in the drop down menu you dont want to use, this is just a logistic choice to cancel wrong selections]

Also, would be nice to have a "briefing room" or some such.  At the click of a button, mission leader can lay out the details and no one can talk.  Then push another button then questions/comments can be made.

Air Warrior had that back in the day. Great thing as we planned missions as a squad and had all kind of cool features...back then. Now, we are way past c-cool game-wise, but isn't the O'Club where you can go and be semi Private? Chat is only heard there, if I am not mistaken, but anyone could come in - just not private access. I think we talked of this 10 years back during the Beta days or after AH went live. Heck, maybe I am just dreaming or having "another senior moment" too. :)
