Axis vs Allies Monday revival + Wednesday too.
« on: March 20, 2010, 10:16:32 PM »
The 358th Daybreakers are reviving AvA Monday. We will be flying in AvA on Mondays at 3pm est and then again at 10pm est. Also Wednesday at 4pm est.

If we don't have many players join us during the day, we will do some training flights and some practice against each other.

Of course we expect more participation in the evening time slot, but any overseas or US daytime players are also invited to join us for something different.

All are welcome to join us and try out the new AvA.

:aok Is it Monday yet  :bolt:  :airplane: :joystick:

:salute I noticed that VF-17 Jolly Rogers and JG54 have been doing a pretty good job of populating the arena at times.   :rock  I am hoping that some of these times are also convenient for those members to join us in a joint effort to keep the recent AvA buzz going.  (add the long list of AvA regulars).

Please feel free to chime in with times and dates where you think that we might be able to have joint squad participation:  Just sign Guestbook with suggestions at http://358daybreakers.webs.com

Thanks Shifty and Wolfie, the Scoreboard works great.

We flew last Thursday night from about 8:00 PM EST till roughly 10:00 PM est.
There six of us we split  half axis half allied. One or two others would come in and leave after a bit
it was mostly Jolly Rogers Thursday though.

Three of us popped in just after we finished a quick practice on overshoot maneuvers so I could enlist a new member.  Unfortunately, it was time for me to leave for work.  I looked at the roster and it looked to be promising, Jolly Rogers evenly split.   :salute

I was not sure if WW 2 planes were enabled at that time (I logged in before and saw planes blanked out in hangar and may not have scrolled far enough in to see the limited planeset - was so used to WW I planeset I guess - and tried to fly one across the channel  :airplane: it took me 15 minutes  :old: - then I discoed  )

I wish we knew that you guys were thee before practice, as I hope that we can attempt to coordinate in the future, it would have been great fun.

For the AvA, you want to remember to check "Enabled Only" (or whatever it's labeled) in the hanger.
Easy in-game again.

The skies were ablaze early today in the AvA.  Great stuff Daybreakers!!  No icons and hundreds of rounds of .303s

Nice setup guys  :aok

Might want to enable Exit in flight though.  And yes, I found myself in a chute quite often trying to dodge TnDep, Thrash99, ReDevil2 and others.  Good thing Jimson and BowSlayr were there to absorb some of those rounds.  :neener:
