Actually, from accounts I've read most of the British Brewsters never made it off the ground. Some were bombed on the ground. But most had engine troubles and there were supply problems with parts.
In the accounts I've read the B 339E could not reach altitudes over 20k due to fuel starvation. It only had a 1,000hp engine and a best climb rate of about 2300 ft a minute. could not perform loops or immelmans and had faulty electric firing solenoids, lack of properly trained pilots, lack of support staff, and utilized airfields that were not easily defended. All these things AH does not model.
The axis got their rear ends kicked, end of story, quit complaining suck it up and move on.
And the Brewster was not a Finnish airplane it designed tested and built in Long Island, New York. The Finns didn't even cal it the Brewster.
Please read about the Sorry Saga of the Brewster.
