Lusche, can you give us some tips on using the 190F8 for tank busting?

Not really, because I still suck on the "hitting" part. I just can't get the hang on PB1 ballistics, even after having practiced a lot in offline mode.
The RW tactic was flying low and shooting salvos of at least 4-6 rockets, only experienced pilots had any luck with less than that.

I'D say this would be  a good tactic in AH too, you just have to get same speed/range every run for consistency.

Yeah, that would do it. I don't think anyone could do it with one rocket with any sort of consistency.

this tactic actually works very well in the game as long as you understand rocketry ballistics in AH which most people do. killed 3 tanks with one sometime back two with rockets and 1 with the 250kg

I disagree with "most people do" especially when it comes to the need of having pinpoint rocket accuracy vs tanks.
Over the years it has been shown that most players have a very hard time doing this, resulting in a very low use of the F-8 as a tank buster.

thats not exactly what i meant lusche. if you fire off a salvo of 4-6 it increases your chance of hitting if you know the PB-1's general tragectory after fired. i haven't used the F8 much myself but i am liking it so far since i started using it :aok

Its like killing tanks with the IL2 rockets, pretty tough to do...In my practice the rockets of the IL2 have a convergence point at around 300 yards. Sorry for the IL2 hijack, keep going ^^
