But if the right people in our community did have access to the proper tools, you can bet planes like the Beau, accurately modeled, would already be submitted to HTC for review as a finished product...
yes i bet ppl would do it for insane perks if your plane is right
only a moron would use Dolby positioning in a game.

I'm all for the whole idea of folks volunteering to make the 3d models in order to help out, but there are so many other things that make the plane (Flight characteristics, etc) that it would only be a slight help. And a big -1 to the bonus perks incentive, map and skin makers don't get perks either.

I thought this would be nice. A lot of us have IT experience and participate in one way or another.

HTC could tap into that resource by publishing a specification of what a 3D model should satisfy in order to be considered for the game.

Now, they could hold competitions on submissions and choose models that make it into the game based on usability / how well the model was made.

Thoughts?

I think there was another discussion on this somewhere.  Wish List or Skins Forum maybe.  Haven't found it yet.

I use blender to model usually its weapons or creatures, mostly just fiddlin around lol I had over a hundred hours on an axe, a friggin double bladed axe...... I can only inagine what a n intire plane must be, I actully thought about doing a P40, but never started it. once I started the painting process...thats to get the creature to move, wow worse then the modeling itself lol, its a very serious PITA I give major kudos to the HTC staff.
