Strangely Consistent AH Crash
« on: October 08, 2011, 11:18:47 AM »
Every time I go near a B-26 in the Main Arena my version of Aces High quits unexpectedly. Has anyone else had a similar experience? It's no big deal I can just avoid getting too close to B-26s, but I wonder if it perhaps a missing skin or a sound file conflict?

It doesn't do it with any other plane and doesn't matter what I'm flying. I don't have any other troubles with AH.  :frown:

more than likely its a sound issue. Are you running a custom sound pak? If so, remove it and chase down a few B26's and see if it goes away. If so, use a different B26 sound. Also, if you find that it IS the sound, post which B26 sound your running so other can make sure they don't have the bad one.

I can't remember if I used a soundpack for the B-26. Should I empty the folder? I never fly that one anyway. Thanks for the help  :salute

try just pulling all of your custom sounds out then see what happens. if no crash then add one plane at a time. i know it's tedious but, it's the best way to find out what sound(s) is causing the problem.
