Best movie pilot without a doubt is Jimmy Stewart. Anyone that gives up an Oscar winning movie career to go fly B-24s in combat just isn't going to not be the best movie pilot. Throw in his actual movie pilots, whether it be "Strategic Air Command", playing Charles Lindbergh or "Flight of the Phoenix" and it's a no-brainer

Worst, and I know I'll get grief for it, is John Wayne. No matter what the movie, or what fighter he's flying, the guy never ever checks his tail. Not once does he look behind to clear his six. He should have died a million times over
