Texture filtering

Bilinear filtering, Trilinear filtering, Anisotropic filtering... x2, x4, x8, x16??

What is it that AcesHigh uses and can I change it for more performance or quality?

The easiest way which also is quite efficient is to set everything as "Controlled by Application" or something like that in the video card's settings panel and then change the settings in Aces High according to your personal preferences.

The worst thing you can do is to set everything on "Quality" or other highest level in the vidcard settings and then add the same in AH settings.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

You won't be able to change much since almost all is done via mipmap.

Does this mean that there is no texture filtering in AcesHigh beyond mipmapping?

No , but what you are asking does not really have any effect that you could see.

Right, I'll just override in the control centre.
