Blitz I only answered the question about what R. Lee Ermey (drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket) would do with you.  If you don't know him, he's like Cabby + Hangtime + Rambo.  I didn't read your apology, and I didn't read the thing you are apologizing for.  I put you on ignore a long time ago.  Your opinion about the war doesn't matter.  It's just characters on a computer screen.  I don't want to read it but I won't get mad about it.

Of course Airhead, I'm a glutton for roses... although I don't like boxes of random assortments of candy, they tend to have some of the worst surprises in them. "Oooo this looks like an appetizing treat... oh no!! This candy is the spawn of satan himself!!!"

Was I ever offended by Blitz? Not in the least, I just wanted to point out the double sided standards some people use when saying "Hey! He apologized" when indeed he has a lot more to apologize than his use of soldiers lost in a war to further his point. It's nice he apologized for that, however, it would of been even nicer if he thought things out before he posted.

He keeps preaching about the loss of life and how this war is unnecessary, well we know the story by now... and then he uses the loss of life in order to justify his point.

Anyhow, this post is quickly turning into an entirely different topic so I will stop.

The apology to me appears very hollow, and I'm astonished it took him this long to realise the error he made in regards to the subject this post is about.

I'll bet you're the kinda guy that would **** a person in the bellybutton and not even have the whoopee common courtesy to give him a reach-around. I'll be watching you.[/i]

You are so very correct.  I do not have any clues into human behaviour.  I am just a stupid american and too easily outwitted by your vast and superior intellect.

but....

Offering an apology for an act, does not erase the act.

Making and apology does not make the apologizer a good person.

An apology does not make it all better.

If you can not see this, then "you surely have not a clue about humain behaviour do you?"

proceed.

This is what you're doing:

1: Post-crap apology.

2: Post-apology crap.

This is what I want you to do:

Let's put this in perspective.

Of the American soldiers captured, the ones that refused to cooperate in front of the camera were probably shot in the head. There are reports that the captured bodies appeared to have been shot in the forehead. This was probably done in front of the rest of them. So, they appeared scared, so what, anyone with any sense would be.

To ridicule them for this as Blitz has done is for me if not unforgivable at least revolting to the degree that I no longer wish to see anything he has to blabber, here, or in the game.
