All day long Russian TV reporters were running around Baghdad looking for American troops. I heard BBC team tried to find them too.

Did the Russian TV reporters find any American troops yet?

The Russians on the other hand have completely achieved their goals in the fight against mighty Chechnia.

Probaby Chechnia has first class Russian equipment.

Chechnya is a mess. Putin needs to worry more about that than Iraq. For awhile I thought there would be a Russian/ U.S. coalition into Chechnya(I thought they were doing exercises together), but I guess that is out the window. That's too bad, the chechen warlords are ruthless and it would be in everyone's best interest to stabilize the area.

Russia would never allow US forces be so close to homeland IMO.

(But it would be nice) (damn wishful thinking :( )

I think Boroda said they're using Chechnya to show us how to fight without causing a single civilian casualty.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

Maybe we could hire some of those vaunted Russian military advisors before we consider another "insane" war again.

Well, if we use Russian tactics, we wont have to worry about installing a government after the fighting.

Civilian casualties in Chechenya?! Youve been misinformed by lying US media, Russian inertia guided rockets and hand grenades hit only hostile targets!
