68th Lightning Lancers Apologize

Lancers,

When anyone joins something whatever it may be. They are accepting the responsibility of being a representive of that venture.
When you joined the 68th Lightning Lancers you became a ambassador for the Lancers. What you say or do is directly attributed to the Lancers. This is a game and is meant to be fun. As in any game there are rules. Rules to some may be there to be broken. NOT THE LANCERS. The squad is made up of some damn nice people and we are here to have fun and pride in the squad as a whole.
I am attaching emails that where sent concerning a member, now former member,of this squad.

Subject    68itlman
Did Ghostdancer e-mail you about 68itlman yet?  I was given a film which showed him shooting down friendly's in the 880 squad. He joined Jededi as a gunner during frame one of the current Friday Squad Operations. Jededi could not control his gunner (68itlman) and dove away (actually augerd) so 68itlman could not shoot anymore of the friendly Ju-88's in his squad. Needless to say there were some hot players.  Can you find out what happened. If there is not a good reason for this he needs to apologize and sit out the rest of this Squad Ops.  Let me know what you find out. I will be happy to send you the film if you like.  ???S> daddog

Subject    68ltlman Situation
Gentlemen, Daddog and I have reviewed a film provided to us by the 880th squadron from last friday night. In it 68ltlman, who joined Jededi as gunner and then proceeds to fire upon Warloc and Trukrr. He actually shot out one of Warloc drones. There was no enemy present so it was not the case of accidental fragging while trying to defend versus attackers. Jededi augered his JU88 to prevent 68ltlman from continuing to firing. I know Daddog has already contacted you (my previous email bounced .. hopfully mail server is now fixed .. please confirm you got this) but I need to reiterate the serious of this matter.  It is our policy to first contact you, the commanding staff of your FSO squad, so that you may deal with the problem internally (as all squad officers should). However, please note that unless a very good explanation is offered for these actions that 68ltlman will at least be banned from the frame 2 and frame 3 of this squad ops.  Please contact Daddog immediately over this matter and I hope it is just a case of rogue individual and can be dealt with accordingly. --Ghost Dancer C.O.Nightmares VMF-101

After discussion with 68KO the squad CO, 68ltlman's ejection was the only course of action that as a squad we must follow. There is no reason that a group of guys who have come together to play a game and have fun, should be banned from Squad Ops or any other event
because of one persons actions.

To any and all please accept our apologize. This is obviously not the type of squad we are or wish to be.

The 880th, Jededi,Warloc and the whole squad this is not what we are about. We will not condone action like this and we are sorry that this unfortunate incident occured

All forgiven here. I am sorry it ended the way it did, but had it been guys in my squad that were shot down I would have been pretty hot too.

Thanks for dealing with it gents. That sort of thing is never any fun.

As I said in my email to 68KO, we consider the matter closed. I will say again how much we appreciate the Lightning Lancers dealing with it head on. It was one bad apple.
