this goes back a ways but..

Here's the math I care about:

$14.95/60 hours a month = $.25 an hour to play the best video game I think I've ever played from the comfort of my own home.

Fan-Freaking-Tastic

Seriously, I gotta cut back. I have a broken sandrail in the garage I gotta fix, even though I've missed the season (pre AH I would've probably already fixed it), I gotta fix an oil leak on the boat so it goes to the river this summer and doesn't make a huge mess, gotta finish my jeep, gotta finish redoing the winnie.

All that and I gotta improve my ACM and SA. Maybe if I hook up the puter in the garage and work on stuff on the climb out......

An "attention-starved, pity-party, I'm leaving and breaking the company, look at me I'm a dumbarse" thread. Go figure. There will always be a 2% bottom-of-the barrel - just barely smart enough to post in a forum demographic, I suppose.

Oops .... Dale? Is it ok if I use the word "dumbarse?"

Without addressing HiTech's bedside manner, I often do wonder about suggested changes to the game.

I've had quite a few. And with a very few exceptions, these have died on the drawing board before they even get to a point where I would post them (or on several occasions where I didn't feel like getting into a shouting match, emailed them).

You see the problem is this: This game is much more important to HTC than it is to me. I love this game, and I'm not leaving any time soon, in spite of the fact I can pretty much only fly on Squad Ops. But, for the folks at HTC this is a JOB. This is a living. So, when I sit down and start working on a hairbrained idea, I like to try and give it the full and fair treatment. I figure I should be able to explain the pros and cons of a good idea in about 5 pages or so.

After about a page or two I find something else to do.

Saurkraut gives me gas.

The amount of gas is what I find amazing.

It's enough for the first two bars of the national anthem.

I'm able to change the tone by squeezing my legs and cheeks together. Through experimentation and diligent work, the words are  understandable to the listener. Tho "twilights" is VERY hard to say.

So far, everytime I get to the third bar I run out of gas or crap the bed...

I can see from reading this through this thread I have much more to learn..

Of the few years Ive been playing AH, HTC has been nothing but excellent in customer service.  Even though I havent been needing them much (because every aspect in AH has been covered and looked at by the staff of around a dozen people), they still are the best, in my opinion in customer service than in anything else.  Try going to another online sim and talking directly to the owner of the game. I bet tehre are very few sims out there that have that kind of staff/customer relationship.

All im trying to say is:  There is no reason to complain about AH.  Even though it isnt the perfect sim and doesnt have everything you could possibly want, it still is one of, if not the, best flight sims out there.  What you, N8DOG, is basically saying that HTC has done nothing in their entire existance, and all their hard work and effort in creating an affordable and enjoyable sim has been wasted.  Seems you're in the minority.

About your saying for HTCrunning the whole game in one of their garages, Id say thatd be pretty dam impressive, but if you payed any attention in these last three years you've been playing you would know that is incorrect.

Now lets really break it down... please correct me if I'm wrong but if I understand correctly...
Hitech was part of the development team for, let's see now
Air Warrior - the one that got us hooked
Warbirds- the next step in the journey
Aces High- where we are now
If this is correct, then Hitech is the reason you have a reason to Whine... you should be thanking him for the opportunity !
Thank you , Mr. Addink, for giving me the game I've dreamed about since I was 6
and no , thats not brownnosing, thats RESPECT
