Why is the range (with bipod) listed as only 300?

Think about it you have a projectile the size of your intire little finger caming at you from a mile away.
pretty dam awsome.

I myself have never fired a 50cal but I am just 1k short of having the 7.500 needed to buy a windrunner 50cal.

Good news I will have it by the time the CON is here:aok

Thanks for pointing that out, never bothered to follow the links away from that specific page.

It's better now, a more austere purely gun-oriented site.

Here are some pics of the .50 and me shooting it.  Has less of a kick then a 12 guage, thats because of the muzzle brake diispates 90% of the kick, the rest is dealable.  The only bad thing about shooting it, is the back stop required and the overpressure when you shoot it. Kinda like be whacked on the nose.

:D

Alot Of ranges wont let you shoot 50s either.
They get complaints about noise but i think its because they tear up there berms and back stops LOL.

No, never hunted with it.  When I did hunt, I wanted to eat what I took.  That is a bit on the overkill side.  But we have shot it a lot at the range, and I used to shoot down in the 'glades at distance against targets.  That was fun.

I've seen this rifle before. It was in the parent post of one of Mr. Black's last threads. Nice looking gun.

I shot a fly off the wall with a rubber band yesterday evening. The little bastard wouldn't stop buzzing around when I was trying to study... Am I a sniper now too?
