A woman has the right to kill her un born child all nice and legal.
But It Is still illegal for someone deathly ill to humainly take there own life.

Yes indeed weird times we live in fellas.

I got a lot of respect for that old basterd. If I had the guts and were in his shoes, I'd do the same thing.

<> old basterd

Also glad he didn't land on anyone.

I am against abortions for anything but medical reasons.
IE: giving birth to the child would endanger the mother.
Or the child would be so retarded that the family would not be able to care for the child the rest of its life.
Again in the above the PARENTS would have final say so.

But this nonsense of some daffy broad
dancing into an abortion clinic because she did not bother to get the pill or cover horny bobs member before they had there ya ya's is crap.

A innocent life should not be taken away because someone was an idiot.

It would seem in the world we live in today there is alot of "Oh it aint my fault" going around.

Well boys and girls If ya wanna play you might have to PAY.
Take responsability for your OWN actions and stop blaming everyone else and stop looking for the easy way out of a jam when you put yourself there in the first place.

As far as the termenily ill taking there own life.

That should be left up to them there family there God and there DRs.

I can not imagine spending my last years in intense pain and know i will never get better.

As ADULTS who have had a chance to live a life I think the choice should be theres.

Usually once a terminally ill person makes his or her decision, there is a silent code throughout the medical industry to make that transition as comfortable as possible (morphine drip) without costing the taxpayers dollars for investigations, ambulances, etc. as this incidence prolly did. :)

He didn't land on anyone but the apartment patio, powerlines, and trees were close enough.  Yeah, somewhat like Secondhand Lions, except unfair to the unsuspecting biplane pilot, witnesses, and the cleanup crew.

The most considerate self-imposed exit is jumping into a volcano.
However, that costs a lot more than a biplane ride.

you'd probably feal different if you where the people in the apartment with guts on their shoes.

I have no problem with allowing people (who are capable of making rational decisions at the time) to take themselves out.

I voted for assisted suicide when it passed here (now if we can get the feds out of it, things will be fine).

but jumping out over a populated area, and from a plane where the pilot didn't know what was up, was damn inconsiderate of the old codger.

at least in 2nd hand lions they crashed their own plane into their own barn.  (damn fine movie BTW, reminds me of my father)

I'm all for assisted suicide and picking the time of your own death.

Still... the old guy should have given some thought to the mess he was going to make. He might have opted for a more scenic (less populated) place to land. :)

Jesus fluff'n Christ, alright, let me amend my previous statement.

With the exception of the location he chose, I have respect for what he did.
