The movie Repo Man
Otto

"Find one on every BBS, you'll see..."

Somebody always has ****ing Otto or Racer X (tantor and sleestack are popular too), so you have to settle.

Charon is the "pilot of the river of death," from Dante's Inferno. Boring and pretentious I know, but it was way hard finding something "cool" at the time and it's a bit late to change now. I've had it since SVGA AW around 1993/94.

Skuzzy, I though I might have had a 1540 hanging around with an old scanner, but it's a 1502. I was going to get it autographed :)

Tahgut - Long story, but suffice to say that it's the caveman version of Target. Everyone in the Nightmare Squad knows where it came from.

a "boson" is an integral spin particle named after physicist Bose (alternativly, a particle that obeys bose-einstein statistics).

a "Bozon" is named after Bozo the clown and much like the boson it spins and always drops to the ground level no matter how crowded it is.

yes, I'm a geek.

It's a reference to the fact that Otto from Repo Man is a common name on many BBS. It's also a slight modification of a quote from the movie, said by the guy in my Avatar (actually about the time the shot in the avatar was taken). Really know your Repo Man, huh :)

The last time I saw the movie was fifteen years ago.

I don't look at avatars.

But, I do seem to remember your quote around the time of the levitating Malibu.

Slash is because I love (old) G-n-R. Slash was taken so the 27 is my jersey number for hockey.

I remember a DJ remembering that when Elvis died, they played like 24 hour marathon of Elvis on his station.

He said when John Lennon was killed, they did a marathon of Lennon and Beatles.

Then he said, "I hope I am not driving accross New Mexico or Wyoming or somewhere where I get only one station to listen to when Axl Rose bite's it."

That and I like pork as a food source.

Mines a pretty boring story too.

Despite common belief, it is not a shorter form of testes. :)

I have a lot of fond childhood memories with Estes rockets.

My BBs name stands for Right to Keep and Bear Arms.  If you notice my sig, even though the copyright date is wrong, it is a direct quote of the Second Amendment from the U.S. Constitution.  I'm a shooter and collector, and I will never move to Kommiefornia, New York, New Jersey, or Mass.  The only place I can think of better than where I'm at would be Texas.

My AH handle DeltaAir, it because when I first hired onto Delta Air Lines, I was sitting at home, and setting up AOhelL.  I had a few drinks and the nicks I was choosing were all taken, so I just typed in DeltaAir and it took it.  By the time I decided to go and change it, I figured why should I do it, and never did.

I picked Maverick as it fit my lifestyle. I have always been somewhat of a lone wolf and didn't conform to what my contemporaries were doing in school. Later after I was on the Department I went to the motorcycle section as you operate alone there as well . All "motors" have to be pretty darn self sufficeint and willing to work by themselves. I also enjoyed the old TV western series Maverick.

My game callsign, Mav13,  involves my squad as well. Great bunch of guys from AW to AH.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."
