Good lord, a 10 year bump.

Night time can be interesting, we have used it in AvA with mixed results.

Sometimes it just empties the arena.

I would prefer variable light conditions, something short of pure darkness.

my only experience with night here, was way back when i first signed up. i flew in it, and it was beautiful. i didn't find any fights in it though. i was a total noob.
 i'd like to give it a try though.

 what i'd like more, is to not have auto retracting flaps spoil my shot though.  :noid
