Bicycles are dangerous vehicles to be on the road when cars are around.

You’ll got that right. Back when I was a wee lad, my friends and I liked to play a little cat and mouse game with bike riders in our cars. Any biker in our lane would get the same treatment. Once spotted ahead, we’d shut down the ignition and quietly coast up from behind. Just as we pasted our victim, we turn the ignition back on and she’d backfire like a shotgun going off. I remember one guy I watch through the rearview. He was so surprised; he somehow managed to get his front wheel violently shaking back and forth. After a few shakes, his front wheel angled into the curb and over he went. Much fun, was enjoyed by all. :)

Gee... why go through all that effort?

Why not just come up alongside him, wink, and fire a gun slightly over his head?

I can  ride a bike.  And I don't ever remember falling off.  Well...  I did have a lot of scratchs the morning after a '4-of -July' party but no one has any 'photos' .

Yeah, the wink makes it all understood that it's just for fun, ergo it's all okay ;)

Do you wear a mouth guard?

Bush should wear a white hockey helmet for just the day to day stuff. :D

Back in the day, when I was working out regularly in martial arts, we would always go to a rough bar and drink beer after the workout.  Never had any problems.

One time I joked with my buddies saying,  with the shape were in right now, we should wear cups and carry mouth guards in this place, in case we get in a fight.  We could make a big point of letting the rednecks see us putting in mouth guards for intimidation purposes.

Of course that was then (20 yrs ago) and this is now.  That would have been a bad idea, not knowing who might have had  a gun or something.:D

I know one thing, if I did get in a fight I'd feel a lot better wearing a cup and mouth guard when it happened.

Who's candidate is a better bike rider.

Just thought that was a funny change of stance.

Maybe it's a bike-thing I don't understand....

Do the guys on the tour de france wear mouth guards?

Do olympic bike riders wear mouth guards?

Does the average person who rides on weekends wear a mouth guard?

Why was Bush wearing a mouth guard?

more like a "realization" at what a ridiculous argument this is.

I'd much rather discuss Kerry's Dem. Convention that's costing the state of MA 50 million bucks at last estimate.

Only minor injuries.   Darn!
Rock:  Ya see that Ensign, lighting the cigarette?
Powell: Yes Rock.
Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.
