I love tournament football.

Looking forward to seeing France getting trounced on Sunday by England. Best to be optimistic, I find.

Liechtenstein (pop 32,000) gave Engerrrrrrland a scare, France should wipe the floor with us. Funny old game though, game of two halfs etc etc.

My prediction is Scoles and Rooney getting sent off because they'll realise just how ugly they are compared to the French bouffants.

We have to fake soccer knowledge every two months or so when our German boss comes to the states and wants us to go watch some German soccer team in the Champions league or during the World Cup. Hell I really had to fake it when I was in Munich a couple of months ago and Bayerein(sp? Munich team was playing some green team.

I only check the SOCCER scores when the USA plays Mexico. We beat them last time. I then make a point of asking all the guys in the shop who won the SOCCER match.


I really enjoy that.

I wish Poland was there instead of Russia.

The only question for Russian team is with what score it will lose to Greece. Games with Spain and Portugal will probably be at least 4:0. :(

I think I'll root for Bulgaria then.
