Conservitiles cant decide from one day to the next and one thread to the next whether Bushes poor record is a good reason to vote Kerry or not. Here we have a conservitile saying that
Bush did bad..but Kerry might have done the same thing.Like any reasonable person would have babbled on with drool dripping out of his mouth for 11 minutes while his country sustained its most severe attack in history.

reality check Anyone could have done better. Powell, Chenny, Ruhmsfeld, either Clinton, hell lazs you would have done better.
That is Bush.

We all know that Bush cant even respond to an unscripted question so why the suprise that he cant respond to an unscripted attack?  The man is an idiot. He thinks slowly and poorly and his speach reflects that disability.

Besides. it was the first novel he had read since Old Yeller and he wanted to see how it ended. Maybe chenny finished reading it to him on Air Force One.

I'm not sure he did much of anything...Here's how I break it down.

Bush:Puppet Pres

Ruhmsfeld:The party whip who didn't resign

Powell:A great man caught in the crossfire of politics

Chenny:The man who brought us all the "Pre-emptive strike" doctrine

and I suppose you were not like the rest of the world...YOU KNEW unlike EVERYONE ELSE in the first 11 minutes that it was an ATTACK....YOU did not have to wait for the second plane to hit.

And who says this guy is a conservative.....he's a columnist....not a journalist.  I thank God at least once a week that Al Gore did not win the election.....I cant even fathom his response....He'd probably appologize to the terrorists and ask them nicely to stop.

Clinton would have just lobbed a few more cruise missles and then bombed a few Iraqi anti aircraft missle sites.

Actually.
I dont know why I turned on the news that morning. I dont often. They were reporting the first hit and I called my sons to see the news.
how the hell can that happen accidentally i asked them.
I didnt get everyone to the basement..I didnt black out the windows. But I didnt go about brushing my teeth either. And Im not the president of the United States.
The man did nothing.
Dont make it seem like the danger of airliners as weapons had never been thought of before. It was well known and documented.

The man did nothing. It is pathetic. Its repulsive. Like he wasnt even curios. Defend him all you want. If it had been a liberal you would be roasting him for it. Over a slow fire and forever.

"Mr. President a plane just crashed into one of the WTC towers...we'll let you know when we have more info"

Why would he need to do anything after that.

11minutes later

"Mr. president a second plane crashed into the WTC we beleive we are under a terrorist attack"

Time for action.

Keep digging my friend

Well documented? As in Douglas Adams' definition of "on display"? Hmm.

If I was the Prez and I heard about a plane crashing into a building, I would have donned my firesuit (the one with the big S on the front) and rushed to the scene with a hose and a bucket. It's what the Prez is SUPPOSED to do!
